Schedule for Asheville Adventure Rental Party/Grand Opening Picnic

Saturday June 9th from 10am-4pm at Asheville Adventure Rentals (704 Riverside Drive Asheville, NC 28801)

Asheville Adventure Rentals is having their grand opening party very soon! Here is the full schedule for the event:

10am

  • FREE CLINIC – Yoga For Kayakers- taught by Girls At Play Founder & Yoga Alliance certified instructor, Anna Levesque
  • FREE CLINIC – The Kayak Roll-Taught by ACA certified Kayak instructors from H2o Dreams
  • Float Trip from Hominy to Asheville Adventure Rentals (For the Float Trip, WCKayaking members get free shuttle! Please meet at Asheville Adventure Rentals main building at 10:30am to sign waivers, load boats, etc. We will be back at Asheville Adventure Rentals by 1pm. You can either bring your own boat and equipment, or rent from AAR. WCKayaking members get %15 off kayak rentals.)
11am
  • FREE CLINIC – Intro to Whitewater Kayaking with H2o Dreams
12am
  • FREE CLINIC – SUP Yoga, taught by Girls At Play Founder, ACA certified SUP & Yoga Alliance certified instructor, Anna Levesque.
2pm
  • FREE CLINIC – Kayaking basics for Anglers, taught by Matthew Christie, avid fisherman & ACA certified kayak instructor
  • FREE CLINIC – Intro to Whitewater Kayaking for WOMEN, taught by ACA certified kayak instructors from Girls at Play
  • Float Trip from Hominy to Asheville Adventure Rentals (Same info as the previous float trip slot, except meet at the main building at 1:30pm.)
  • FREE CLINIC – Intro to Stand-up Paddleboarding, taught by ACA certified SUP instructors from Girls at Play
3pm
  • FREE CLINIC – Breathing for Kayakers, at Asheville Adventure Rentals
So come hang out with us and have some fun! The WCKayaking picnic will start at 1pm after the first float trip returns with some yummy treats!

Asheville Adventure Rentals is having their Grand Opening Party soon and we will be there to celebrate with them! There will be some great things happening on Saturday, June 9th for this event. Some of them are: free clinics (including yoga for kayakers, SUP yoga, beginning kayaking for anglers, intro to whitewater kayaking, and many more!), float trips, a gear swap, giveaways from WCKayaking and all-around fun! Come out and join us from 10am to 4pm. If you need to rent some gear, members of WCKayaking get 15% off kayak rentals and free shuttles for the float trips (it’s always fun to have a designated shuttle bunny, and not have to worry about hitching a ride). Stand Up Kayaking

Is it a kayak?

Is it a SUP?

 

 

 

Its a SUP that is built by a Kayak manufacturer in Estonia – the Zegul Marine Rhapsody and Revolution.  This is the ultimate play and paddle board to take out on the lake…great for adults, kids, even Fido will keep his balance!

So I just completed the ACA Instructor Certification and am a SUP board instructor!  I personally purchased a his and hers Zegul Marine (Rhapsody and Revolution) which is just out of the wrappings! Constructed with five layers instead of the usual two by the inexpensive boards, it is durable and incredibly constructed.

These are for sale at a reduced price which is almost half of suggested retail price to the first person who purchases one or both.

To top it off, I will meet you at Lake Jocassee or Lake Julian  in the summer and give you a FREE SUP lesson on strokes and maneuvers if you purchase!
